Setting up your Restrofi account
From sign-up to taking your first live order in about 15 minutes — no hardware, no installation. Here's the full first-time setup.
What you'll accomplish
You'll create your account, set your business type and restaurant details, build a starter menu, print table QR codes, and place a test order end-to-end.
Before you start
- Your restaurant's basic details — name, address, and GSTIN if you have one.
- Your menu items with prices ready to type in.
- A phone to scan and test your QR code.
Step-by-step guide

Create your account
Go to restrofi.com and click Get started. Sign up with your email — you'll receive a verification email; click the link to activate. Plans start at ₹699 per outlet per month, and you can cancel anytime.

Choose your business type
Pick the type that fits — cafe, QSR, full-service, cloud kitchen, bar, bakery, dhaba, and more. Restrofi tailors the dashboard, default channels, and labels to your format.

Add your restaurant details
Enter your restaurant name, address, and GSTIN (for GST-compliant invoices). Set your default GST rate and service charge in Settings — these apply automatically to orders.

Build a starter menu
Open Menu Builder, add a category or two, and add a few items with prices and GST rates. You can paste your full menu later or use AI to generate descriptions. Changes go live instantly.

Add tables and print QR codes
In Tables, add your tables and download the print-ready QR PDF. Print and place one QR per table — each is pre-tagged with its table number.

Place a test order
Scan a table QR with your phone, order an item, and watch it appear on your dashboard and KDS in under a second. Mark it paid to confirm the GST invoice generates.

Invite your team
Add staff in the Staff page and assign roles (manager, cashier, kitchen, waiter) so each person sees only what they need.
Common issues
I didn't get the verification email.
Check your spam folder. If it's not there, request a new link from the login screen, or email [email protected] and we'll verify you manually.
Can I change my business type later?
Business type is set during onboarding because it controls your dashboard layout. If you need to change it, email support and we'll switch it for you.
Do I need any hardware to start?
No. Restrofi runs entirely in the browser on phones, tablets, and computers you already own. A thermal printer is optional and connects via Restrofi Connect.
