Common questions about payments
Does Restrofi charge commission on payments?
Zero. Restrofi charges a flat monthly subscription. There are no per-order fees, no payment processing commissions from Restrofi's side.
Which payment methods does Restrofi support?
UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), debit/credit cards, net banking, and cash. Guests pay at the counter by default. If you connect your own Razorpay account and switch on Pay now, guests can also choose to pay online at checkout.
Who processes the payments — Restrofi or Razorpay?
Payments are processed by Razorpay (a licensed payment aggregator). Funds go directly to your bank account. Razorpay's standard processing fees apply; Restrofi adds zero markup.
Do I need a separate Razorpay account?
Only for online payments. You connect or create your own Razorpay account from inside Restrofi, with a guided setup, so the money settles straight to your bank. Pay at counter needs no gateway at all.
Can guests pay at the counter instead of via QR?
Yes. Restrofi supports a pay-at-counter mode where staff collect payment and mark the order as paid from the dashboard.
