Tables & QR Codes

Generating and printing QR codes

Create one QR code per table, download a print-ready PDF, and stick them on your tables — guests scan and order immediately.

What you'll accomplish

You'll have printed QR codes on every table that link directly to your restaurant's digital menu, pre-tagged with the table number so orders arrive in your dashboard already labelled.

Before you start

  • Your menu has at least one category and one item.
  • You have access to a printer (any home or office printer works).
  • Optional: a laminator or QR code stands for a professional look.

Step-by-step guide

  1. 1

    Go to Tables

In your dashboard, click Tables in the left sidebar. You'll see a list of your tables (or an empty state if you haven't added any yet).

  2. 2

    Add your tables

Click Add Table and enter a name (e.g. Table 1, T-01, Terrace 3). Add one row per table. There's no limit on the number of tables. You can also add a seating capacity for each table.

  3. 3

    Download individual QR codes

Once tables are added, each row shows a QR icon. Click it to download a PNG of that table's QR code. The QR code links to your menu URL pre-tagged with that table number.

  4. 4

Download all QR codes as a PDF

Click Download All QR Codes (PDF) at the top of the Tables page to get a single print-ready PDF with one QR code per page, each labelled with the table name.

  5. 5

    Print and laminate

Print the PDF on A4 or A5 paper. Laminating the QR codes extends their life significantly. You can also order custom table stands or acrylic holders from any print shop.

  6. 6

    Test before service

Scan each printed QR code with your own phone before placing them on tables. Confirm the menu loads and you can complete an order end-to-end. This takes 2 minutes and prevents issues during live service.

Common issues

The QR code scans but shows a blank menu.

Make sure you have at least one item marked as available in your menu. An empty menu will load the page but show nothing.

Orders are arriving without a table number.

Guests may have opened the menu URL directly instead of scanning the table QR. The table number is embedded in the QR URL — direct visits don't have it.

I can't find the Download All PDF button.

It may be at the top-right of the Tables page or inside an overflow menu. If you can't find it, email support and we'll send you the PDF directly.
