Follow this step-by-step checklist to get your restaurant live on Restrofi. No technical knowledge required.

Create your account

2 min

Go to restrofi.in/signup and enter your name, email, and password. No credit card needed. Your account starts on the free plan immediately.

Use your work email so teammates can be added later under the same account.

Add your restaurant profile

3 min

Enter your restaurant name, address, and GSTIN. Add your logo and brand color. This information appears on all guest-facing QR menus and invoices.

Your GSTIN is optional during setup — you can add it later before your first invoice.

Build your menu

10 min

Create categories (Starters, Mains, Beverages, Desserts), add items with names, prices, descriptions, and photos. Mark items as veg or non-veg. Set availability flags.

Start with your top 15-20 items. You can always add more after going live.

Add tables and generate QR codes

Define your table layout — add table names or numbers. Restrofi generates a unique QR code for each table. Download as PDF and print, or use our print-ready templates.

Use laminated QR stands for tables. For counters, a simple printed QR taped to the wall works perfectly.

Open KDS on your kitchen tablet

1 min

On any Android or iOS tablet in your kitchen, open a browser and navigate to your restaurant's KDS URL. Tap 'Full Screen'. The display is now live — orders will appear here in real time.

Keep the tablet plugged in and screen-timeout disabled. Most kitchens use a ₹8,000-₹12,000 Android tablet.

Place a test order

Use your own phone to scan one of your table QR codes. Browse your menu, add a few items to cart, and complete a test order. Watch it appear on the KDS immediately.

If you don't see the order on KDS within 5 seconds, check that the KDS browser tab is active and not minimized.

Go live! Share QR codes with your guests

Now

Place QR codes on all your tables. Post your QR on your counter, front door, and social media. Your first real order is moments away.

Announce to your regular customers that they can now order directly from their table. Most love the independence.
