Built for multi-outlet operations

Chain features included in the plan, not enterprise add-ons behind a sales call.

Outlets drift off-brand on prices and items.

Menu sync from the primary outlet

Head office edits the menu once at the primary outlet and syncs it to one outlet or all of them in one click. Outlet staff can mark an item sold out, but only the owner can change items and prices.

Every outlet runs its own software and its own login.

One dashboard, every outlet

Switch between outlets from one login. Live orders, kitchen display and settings for the whole chain, with no per-outlet software installs.

You find the weak location at month end, not today.

Outlet-level analytics

Revenue, orders and top sellers broken down per outlet, next to consolidated totals for the group, with CSV export.

Each outlet has its own GSTIN to bill under.

Per-outlet GST billing

Each outlet invoices under its own GSTIN and FSSAI number with its own sequential numbering, the way chains and franchise outlets are structured in India.

Staff at one outlet shouldn't see another's floor.

Per-outlet staff & roles

Kitchen, waiter, manager and cashier roles scoped to their outlet, or to a chosen set of outlets for an area manager. The owner keeps head-office control.

Loyal customers visit more than one of your outlets.

Chain-wide loyalty

Customers earn and redeem points at every outlet: one balance, one customer, whichever location they visit.

RestroAI watches every outlet and WhatsApps head office one daily digest: which location grew, which needs attention, and why.

About RestroAI

How an 8-outlet group runs on Restrofi

Head office to outlet floor, in six parts.

01

Head office

The owner account holds all 8 outlets, the Chain subscription (₹14,496 a month) and the all-outlets dashboard with a per-outlet breakdown.

02

Outlets

Each outlet has its own GSTIN, FSSAI number, invoice series, tables, printers, kitchen hours and payment gateway.

03

Roles and PINs

Outlet managers, cashiers, waiters and kitchen staff are added per outlet from 7 built-in roles or custom roles built from up to 27 permissions, each with a personal till PIN. An area manager can be given a chosen set of outlets.

04

Menu sync

Head office edits the menu at the primary outlet and syncs it to one outlet or all 8 in one click. Outlet staff can mark items sold out but cannot change prices.

05

Offline

Outlets that bill on a PC run Restrofi Connect, which keeps billing and printing through an outage and syncs when the line is back.

06

Reports

Head office sees revenue, orders and top sellers for the group and for each outlet, with CSV export. Loyalty points earned at one outlet redeem at any other.

The franchise model, done right

Franchising works when the brand controls the experience and each outlet runs its own business. Restrofi is built around that split.

  • The owner account controls the menu and prices; outlets receive them by sync
  • Each franchise outlet bills under its own GSTIN and settles to its own payment gateway
  • Outlet staff see only their location; head office sees everything
  • A new outlet goes live with QR codes, staff logins and a menu sync

What should a chain ask any POS vendor?

Ten questions that separate a chain system from a single-outlet POS with an outlet switcher. Restrofi's answers are in the last column, including the ones that are a no.

Which POS is best for a restaurant chain in India?

For groups of 6 to 12 outlets that want a published price, Restrofi is a strong fit: it runs in the browser on devices each outlet already owns, syncs the menu from the primary outlet, bills each outlet under its own GSTIN and shows group and per-outlet numbers in one dashboard. ₹9,999 a month covers 5 outlets, plus ₹1,499 per additional outlet, bought from the dashboard with dedicated onboarding.

An honest note: What Restrofi does not do today: central kitchen management and stock transfers between outlets; ERP, Tally or SAP integration; Zomato and Swiggy order sync; a franchise royalty or fee-billing module. A group that depends on any of these needs a system that includes it. Groups beyond 12 outlets with those needs are usually better served by enterprise suites such as Restroworks or Petpooja's chain offering.

Questions, answered

Something else on your mind? Ask our team.

Does Restrofi work for restaurant chains and franchises?

Yes. Premium runs 1 to 5 outlets and the Chain plan runs 6 to 12, all from one owner login: menu sync from the primary outlet, outlet-level and consolidated analytics, per-outlet GST invoicing, and QR ordering, kitchen display and billing at every outlet. Larger groups move to a quoted Enterprise plan.

How much does Restrofi cost for a chain?

Chain costs ₹9,999 a month for up to 5 outlets plus ₹1,499 for each outlet beyond that, up to 12. An 8-outlet group pays ₹14,496 a month, or ₹1,44,960 a year on yearly billing. Groups of 1 to 5 outlets use Premium at ₹699 per outlet per month. Prices exclude GST; there is no commission or setup fee.

Can a franchise brand control menus while each outlet bills separately?

Yes. The owner account edits the menu at the primary outlet and syncs it to one outlet or all of them. Outlet staff cannot change items or prices; they can only mark an item in or out of stock. Each outlet keeps its own GSTIN, invoice numbering, orders, staff and payment gateway, so money from each outlet settles to that outlet's own account.

Does each outlet get its own GSTIN and FSSAI number on the bill?

Yes. GSTIN, FSSAI licence number and the invoice series are set per outlet, so every bill carries the details of the outlet that served it. Outlets in different states bill under their own state registration, with the CGST and SGST split on each invoice.

Can outlets in different states or cities run on one account?

Yes. Each outlet has its own address, GST registration and timezone setting, and the owner switches between outlets from one login. Group analytics add the outlets together and also show each outlet on its own.

What access does a franchisee or outlet manager get?

As much as the owner grants. Staff are added per outlet with a built-in role (admin, manager, cashier, kitchen, waiter, front desk, housekeeping) or a custom role, and each can be limited to one outlet, a chosen set of outlets, or the whole group. Revenue, analytics and customer phone numbers are separate permissions the owner switches on or off.

What happens at an outlet when the internet goes down?

Each outlet can bill through an internet outage on the Restrofi Connect desktop app: it keeps the menu, tables and settings on the billing PC, prints KOTs and provisional receipts, and syncs every order exactly once when the connection returns; the GST tax invoice is raised at that sync. Outlets that bill only on phones or tablets need a connection.

Who owns the sales and customer data?

The restaurant does: orders, customers and reports belong to the outlet's account. Analytics export to CSV for any outlet or the whole group, and customer phone numbers are visible only to the owner and to staff given that permission.

Does Restrofi need POS hardware at every outlet?

No. Ordering, kitchen display and billing run on the phones, tablets, PCs and TVs each outlet already owns. A thermal printer is optional for paper KOTs and bills. Opening a new outlet needs QR codes, staff logins and a menu sync.

Can customers earn loyalty points across all outlets of a chain?

Yes. The loyalty programme runs at group level: customers earn and redeem points at every outlet of the chain, and the brand sees one customer across locations.
