Reading your sales dashboard

See exactly how your restaurant is performing — revenue, orders, average order value, top dishes, and peak hours — without exporting anything to a spreadsheet.

What you'll accomplish

You'll navigate the analytics page, switch date ranges within your plan, read the core metrics, and ask RestroAI a question in plain language.

Before you start

  • You have an active Restrofi subscription (every plan includes 30-day analytics history).
  • You have orders recorded over the period you want to view.

Step-by-step guide

  1. 1

    Open Analytics

    From your dashboard, click Analytics in the sidebar. The page opens on today's view by default.

  2. 2

    Choose a date range

    Switch between Today, This week (7 days), and This month (30 days). The 30-day range is included in every plan.

  3. 3

    Read the core metrics

    Check revenue, order count, and average order value for the range, plus your top-selling items and the hours when orders peak. Use these to plan staffing and prep.

  4. 4

    Ask RestroAI a question

    Use the Ask RestroAI box to ask things like 'which dish made the most revenue last week?' in English or Hindi. It answers from your real data, clamped to your plan's range.

  5. 5

    Export for your accountant

    On Pro and above, download item-wise sales and revenue as CSV for any date range — ready to hand to your accountant.

Common issues

The 'This month' range is greyed out.

30-day analytics is included in every plan. If the month range is greyed out, check that your subscription is active in Settings → Billing.

The AI box says I need to upgrade.

The Ask RestroAI assistant is included with every plan. If you see an upgrade prompt, check that your subscription is active in Settings → Billing.

My numbers look lower than expected.

Analytics counts settled revenue. Orders marked pay-later aren't counted as revenue until you settle them to paid.
